\nJohor State of Malaysia is equipped with 5 sets of horizontal rotary kilns , waste-heat steam generators , customized crushers , etc. ; as well as dedicated QC instruments catering for in – house product sampling tests which are conducted in accordance to established international test standards , such as , ASTM & GB . Coconut-shell based Activated Carbon
\n\u6930\u58f3\u57fa\u6d3b\u6027\u70ad<\/h2>\n\t\t<\/span>\n\t<\/div>[vc_media_grid element_width=”6″ grid_id=”vc_gid:1741958245012-8a76a30f-ddc8-6″ include=”766,847″][vc_column_text el_class=”text-to-justify”]Virgin coconut-shell based carbon typically exhibits relatively high hardness indices , low ash content , with predominantly micro-pore composition in its carbon matrix . Such activated carbon is more suitable for polishing \/ purification involving gaseous phase with low concentration of small – molecule contaminants , and filtration process which demands high resistance to fragmentation , over several back-washing cycles . It is not so desirable for adsorption of large complex organic molecules , such as , in the case of de-colourisation application in liquid phase .<\/p>\n

We implement steam activation process of carbonized coconut-shell in rotary kiln . The degree of activation , viz., total volume of pores to be created per unit weight of a carbon sample , via chemical reaction between steam and carbon matrix ( in ambient temperatures of around 950 deg. Celsius ) is dependent on the optimal combination of input rate of steam mass and carbon mass , together with favourable incidence of surface contact between these two chemicals .<\/p>\n
